It would seem that early predictions of EU citizens having to pay double that of their US counterparts for Windows 7 were wrong. In fact the latest indications are that UK customers will have to pay about half the cost of American customers.
It’s nice to see that we’re not being completely ripped off for once, though with Amazon prices ranging from £65 (Home Premium) to £170 (Ultimate), I think I’ll stick with my Ubuntu system, thanks, even if there is a huge disparity between UK and US prices on that
